* PLEASE NOTE: Travel and room rental costs may increase the fee. Calculations and arrangements will be discussed and agreed before any commitment to begin counselling.

Payment by bank transfer is preferred (details below) but I will accept cash too. Payment is requested within 24 hours before or after the session. If you are on a lower income or are studying / counselling, feel free to enquire about the two reduced price places. There may be a waiting list for these.

Counselling Children and Young People: Stage One Skills and Competences
Designed for post-qualified and student counsellors* who want to begin working with young people (ages 4–18), this five-day CPD course is mapped to the professional standards for basic CYP competences over a 5-day schedule. The stage one competences are a key requirement with many professional counselling bodies for starting clinical work with children and young people. Each delegate is guided to produce a personal portfolio of evidence during the course to demonstrate their developing competence. A skills assessment and essay assignment are also requirements of the course and are evidenced in the finished portfolio. Curated MindEd courses support the programme. The course is equivalent to 25 hours of CPD.
